Review (of a sample) - The Rift by Walter Jon Williams
I read the sample and although I am still smarting over the last sample that I loved and then purchased (and was sadly disappointed with), I think I am going to purchase this one...
The sample is formatted well, the grammar is good, the technical aspects of writing are in order. The characters, although there are a ton of them, are well written. I'm interested in seeing where this goes.
At 818 pages, I don't think he is one of these serial shysters. The ratings... well, at 5 stars we have 46 and at 1 star we have only 6... two and three stars are at 13 a piece.
Purchased... we shall see.
