Worldwar: In the Balance - Harry Turtledove

SF/Fantasy is one of my favorite genres.  I have a whole list of books competing for this spot today, but I chose one with a UFO theme, given it is World UFO Day (I never knew this existed, to be honest).  

 

This was the series that introduced me to Harry Turtledove, and while I feel the series lost some steam around the fifth book in the series, I count the six books as one of my top five favorite series.
